It is 5:45 AM on December 27th, 2018. I woke up at 3:00 AM and so just decided to get up.
I’ve been playing with my Oculus Go that I gifted myself for Christmas and it is fabulous. It is the same as my Samsung Gear VR but that used my Samsung S6 and always had to cool down after only 10 minutes of use. So it is wonderful to actually be able to dive deep into the universe of VR and spent about two hours in it this morning.

It is Christmas Day 2018 at 6:25 AM. Usually I like to write a Christmas Eve post to reflect on Christmases past and the magic that comes only on that night but I have caught a cold and wasn’t feeling too well.
I just ran myself too ragged: we took a trip to Lake Tahoe and went snowboarding/skiing for a couple of days with our friends the Denmans. After skiing it was then lots of food and wine usually followed by a poor nights sleep. The altitude, extreme exhaustion and of course the wine all contribute to not sleeping well and so you’re never really recovered from the day before.
It is 2:55 AM on Saturday December 15th, 2018. I’m still trying to get into the Christmas mood but it is hampered by a couple of things. The first is probably the news and the dire picture it paints about the state of the world. First and foremost we have a complete idiot of a President along with his gold digging, nude picture publishing, cheated on with porn stars wife. Trump and Melania are both a disgrace but what is worse is that half of America voted Trump into office.
My name is now physically on Mars. I posted about this back in 2015 when names were being accepted by NASA.
NASA – Frequent Flyer
The launch was delayed due to a seismometer issue and finally launched on May 5th, 2018. Well, it has arrived and I can now say that my name is physically on another planet!
It is 4:44 AM on Saturday December 8th, 2018. I’ve had my wheat grass, made tea, meditated, responded to Facebook comments and updated WordPress to 2019
WordPress has changed the format quite a bit with this new release focusing on ‘blocks’ and changing theme to be more in line with mobile. I still prefer 2016 for a desktop layout but since it is an old theme I’ll go with 2019 for the functionality and speed improvements.
